Online & in Person Tutoring for GCSEs
I'm Here to Help!
Inspiring Enthusiasm in STEM
GCSEs are tricky, especially if the subjects are uninteresting and confusing to you. In my experience, this may lead to frustration and anxiety throughout secondary school. I have found that getting the basics of a topic - which may be rushed over in class - will set vital groundwork for learning complex topics. With this method, you will be surprised how quickly whole concepts that first seemed daunting make more sense.
It is my aim to focus on these basics; making them more engaging and interactive, building up from what you know already. My hope is that this method will increase your confidence within STEM and help you feel that GCSEs are a bit more bearable.

A Different Approach to Learning
Instead of a class of 30-or-so students, an engaging and personalised one-on-one teaching session can offer you more insite into your specific needs alongside identifying what areas you can improve upon. By breaking concepts down into smaller, more digestible pieces specific to your mark scheme, you will be able to remember more information and answer question across the entire subject.
I can offer the patience and attention to detail that teachers may be unable to provide students in such large classes. For me, confidence goes a very long way in academics: if you believe that you can do well, then with support and guidance, your GCSEs can open doors to your future.
Customized Learning Plans
I believe that support alongside motivation is the perfect formula for good academic performance. It's important to want to achieve highly, but it may be hard to know where to get started. I am happy to talk with you about the areas you would like to improve upon and then tailor my sessions to target what you need help with.
It is however important to highlight that GCSEs are hard work, and that tutoring sessions should only be a part of your revision plan, emphasising that self-study (which I can help guide) is esssential for improving grades.

About Me
I'm a local student from Stroud studying medicine at the University of Manchester, before this I went to Thomas Keble and Marling sixth form. Personally, I found that during my GCSEs and A-levels having to constantly keep on top of content and apply this to exams was a nighmare. Before I knew it, I was getting disappointing grades in my science and maths tests. It was only during the late stages of year 11 that I realised how to study and how the examiners wanted me to answer questions. I believe that if I had some extra support and guidance earlier it could've given me that extra boost to get a hold of the exams before they began.
